This looks normal. However, the user nagios doesn't appear to be able to execute cron - obviously. For the time being, I've modified the cron entry to run as root to isolate the issue and everything ran just fine. This server authenticates against LDAP and I believe that is the cause of the problem. I will work this out internally since it doesn't appear to be a Nagios issue.
