You can check to see if "n@gweb" is the correct password by running the following command from the CLI:

echo 'show tables;' | mysql -t -undoutils -pn@gweb nagios
Go to the Scheduled Backups page, FTP tab, and click on "Update Settings". This should re-save your password for the FTP server in an encrypted form. Next, try another FTP backup to see if the issue has been resolved.

The show tables command produced some output but the backup is still not appearing in the FTP server.

I have done this, with no effect. I will open the support call.
