Lmiltchev, Mguthrie,

Good news! I took the chances and rolled-back Python to v2.4.6 and tried the command via CLI and got a perfect output. Mguthrie's guessing was correct. I want to thank you both for your exceptional supporting capabilities and willingness to help others.

We will be in touch. Have a great weekend.

Lmiltchev, Mguthrie,

Not so good news! After a successful roll-back to Python v2.4.6 and CLI output results, I still could not get the web-interface to reflect the status right. Its still in warning state. I think you are using Nagios v3.2.3 and I'm on 3.3.1. I have to admit that newest not always the greatest!!! Any suggestion? Should I roll-back the Nagios Core to 3.2.3 as well? I've noticed you both are still on it.

Thanks

Mguthrie,

Please review my previous two posts when you get a chance. I will wait for your response to decide whether I should roll-back the Nagios Core to 3.2.3 to fix this plugin. As I said in my previous post, after Python rollback I got the command working on CLI. But the web interface still in warning/null state. I check the "sestatus" which is disabled and check nagios config again with 0 errors, restarted the nagios service without any luck.

Please advise.

I don't recommend the Core rollback, I don't think it has anything to do with the Core version. Can you post your latest command definition and service definition and restart nagios to make sure that it's using the updated configs?

Can you also post the working command-line test?

I'm betting it's just something small that we're missing at this point. I should also probably note that even with this plugin fully functional, I have had it occasionally return a null result (I think occasionally because the weather API is unavailable).

Mguthrie,

Finally, tested on a Nagios Core 3.2.3 with success. Thanks for all your help. In order for this plugin to work need the following:

Python v2.4.6
Nagios Core 3.2.3
