Since you are on 2024R1.0.1 could you run get_mysql_passwords.sh in /usr/local/nagiosxi/scripts and see if the mysql passwords are what you expected?

Getting same error with a fresh install of the OS.
Error: Subcomponen 'extraplugins' installation failed exiting.
The installation stops at "The script that failed was :'./A-subcomponents'

It seems to have been an firewall issue. Connected the server to a open network and now its looking better but still not completing.

I am now failing at Subcomponent "chromium" installation failed -exiting.

Chromium depends libopenjp2-7 (2.5.0) but 2.4.0-6ubuntu is to be installed.

tried adding this:

printf "\nPackage: libharfbuzz0b\nPin: origin \"deb.debian.org\"\nPin-Priority: 700\n" >> subcomponents/chromium/chromium_22.pref

and

Package: libzstd1
Pin: origin "deb.debian.org"
Pin-Priority: 700

but did not help.

Any suggestions?

After some trial and error i got it up and running
