At this point, it looks like you have an issue with your Windows domain controller. Perhaps your OU nesting isn't correct. Do you have a different account you can test against?

Until this is fixed the check plugin likely will not work

it worked before we migrated over to a VM

It worked before you moved your domain controller to a VM, or Nagios to a VM?

I compiled a document that will help. Give this a shot using the administrator account.
