It is the email server at your work. I assume you replaced the actual domain with '@mydomain.com'. You may need to talk to your email admin at your work. He will need to check the mail server logs for any details on why your businesses mail relay bounced the email and is reporting that you are using an unknown user.

We use a Google domain for our company and have [email protected] for emails, that are gmail accounts. What I don't know is how to configure my Linux box to relay the email, is there a guide for that.

Just an fyi, I can't really comment on setting up postfix or such to send out for you, but gmail may not be the relay you want to use. While they end up holding your mail, it may be that your ISP has a relay you should be using, such as smtp.comcast.net for comcast users, that otherwise they block port 25 out of their network.
