Hi there,
after we updated from Nagios XI 2012R1.6 to R1.7 we've got some strange problems.
Many hosts/services are staying in pending status after reboot, since several days, additionally the Notification of these hosts/services is switch off and cannot be enabled back.
Also the Ack of alerts is not possible.
The strange thing is not all Hosts/services are affected.
An help appreaciated
THX
Andy

There are no known issues with 1.7 that would cause this, have you verified that these checks are currently active? Also it might be helpful if you could pm one of us your config snapshot too.
Nagios-Plugins maintainer exclusively, unless you have other C language bugs with open-source nagios projects, then I am happy to help! Please pm or use other communication to alert me to issues as I no longer track the forum.

Re: Are there any known problem after update to 1.7
Hi
after investigating several Logs i figured out that the mysql-db seems to have a problem. So after doing a backup, I run the repair script and this fixed the main problem, so we can work again.
Still it would be great to get a hint for the duplications I mentioned in the mail.
Thx for your help up till now
