Hi
I am busy testing out Nagios Core to monitor our server room.
I just have a question on host groups
I have created all my hosts and put them into their groups as to their function so all DNS servers are in a DNS group
but i have also assigned them to OS groups so all my linux machine are in a Linux group and windows in a windows group and so on - this is just to manage everything
I was hoping to be able to display a list of groups and select the group i would like to view or to at least customize the main page with specific groups.
The problem is when i login to nagios and go to the host groups page it shows everything so a lot of the servers are duplicated because it show it under the servers function and under it OS group.
Is there anyway of hiding a host group from the page?
Regards,

Re: Hide Hsotgroups
Hiding, not that I know of. However you can click on any hostgroup name and filter specifically for that hostgroup. This same logic applies, such that you can submit a post request to status.cgi with http://nagils.host/nagios/cgi-bin/statu ... yle=detail and get that specific page.
Nagios-Plugins maintainer exclusively, unless you have other C language bugs with open-source nagios projects, then I am happy to help! Please pm or use other communication to alert me to issues as I no longer track the forum.
