Correlaton Engine

From our understand correlation engine is the concept if particular hosts is down, we will not get any service alerts for this host

we need to implement correlation engine option is availabile in Nagios xi.

is it possible ? how we can implement the same.

This is a very complex issue and an actual correlation engine would have to implemented by you. On the other hand, NagiosXI already has the ability to repress service alerts of a downed parent host. These are called service and host dependencies.

While the following doc is for Nagios Core the same ideas can be applied by you using the Core Config Manager:
