Generate Specific Reports

Post by bursatec »

Hi,

How, can I generate specific reports, for example how many hosts have 50% of usage CPU, or how many Filesystems are above 80% of usage.

Thanks

There is not an efficient way to report on hosts or services based on specific metric thresholds in XI currently.

Well, it wouldn't really be called a report, but you can use the metrics to see this kind of stuff.

True enough. With enterprise, you could create reports from those metric pages as well.

On the main page, under the details section of the menu you should see "metrics"

Go look there and play around, you can see CPU usage, drive usage and other items.

Use the "Metrics" component under Home --> Details. Choose your desired options from the dropdowns and then click the "schedule page" clock icon in the upper right hand corner.

EDIT: forum race condition. . .

Thanks!!!

The solution works for me, but how can i Add more metrics, because i only have:

Disk Usage
CPU Usage
Memory
Load
Swap

And the CPU Usage Metric only return me the Windows servers metrics, but the Linux and AIX metrics are missing.

Can you help me with that.

Best Regards

The Linux and AIX should be under the LOAD. I can't answer about the adding newer metrics.

Bandit is correct, CPU Usage is windows specific, whereas LOAD is linux specific.
