XI Wizard to Host Template pairing?

I am in the process of trying to figure out our Template Hierarchy, and the templates assigned at all possible host entry points. The seem to be many xiwizard templates. Does anybody have any documentation on a XI Wizard -> xiwizard template mapping?

It sounds like the templates being used in you environment currently are as you say, Wizard templates. That is because when running a wizard, it's template is assigned to the hosts/services you create. As far as mapping goes, the name of the template should correlate with the name of the wizard. Were you looking for something beyond this?

Yeah, I figure I can take reasonably successful guesses at the pairing myself, but would be interested in any documentation available on the topic.

There is no definitive document currently. There are a number of additional templates that are installed with components and wizards, beyond the default templates. This may be something that should have documentation. . .
