Contacts Not Receiving Notifications

I setup 2 new contacts by copying the nagios admin contact and added them to several services. When I send the "Custom Service Notification" I receive the notification they do not. The Notifications Log shows them as receiving it but /var/log/maillog shows only the messages were sent to me. I checked in nagios/etc/contacts and the contacts are setup correctly with the correct email address as the web gui shows. They are setup as a contact on the service and in nagios/etc/services. I have exhausted my knowledge on this. Where is the next place I should check to resolve this mystery?

Just to verify, you copied a User or a Contact? They are handled quite differently in XI. If they are just a contact and not a user also, you likely need to change their notification preferences to use "notify-[host\service]-by-email" opposed to "xi-notify-[host\service]-by-email" as the latter uses specific data that contacts do not have.
