Hi all,
I have an inquiry regarding the suppression/acknowledgement of alerts. Is it possible to schedule suppressions or simply acknowledge a problem and have the service or host remain green or just not continue to show up as red? Is this possible in the BPI view as well? My organization has a command center that will be monitoring several screens and when any sort of red comes it attracts unnecessary attention initially and later on gets ignored, which is a bad practice and one we are trying to discontinue for alerts that do not need to show up on the monitoring screens.
Any help with this would be great.
Thank you!

Re: Acknowledge/Suppress Alerts w/ no color change
If a problem is acknowledged but is still in a down or critical state it will still be red.
However, there are several visualization in XI that exclude items that are acknowledged or in downtime, such as
Operations Center
Operations Screen
Open Service Problems
Open Host Problems
