How to setup notification when device changes IP

Hi,

I am new to Nagios. Have currently installed NAGIOSXI and is looking for an solution to my issue.

I am looking for a way to get a notification when an device on my network changes ip address.

How can i achieve this using Nagios ?

I assume i need an plugin to pull the ip and look for changes ?

You could use the dns query wizard if the server in question has an FQDN.
