Timeperiod

Post by mroter »

We are testing a data feed using timeperiod (09:10 - 18:15).
Since the data flow may stop few minutes before we stop monitoring at 18:15 the monitor state may remains red until the next check on 09:10 the following day.

Is there a way to switch the monitor to OK outside of the check period? Is scheduled downtime is the only way?

You could send a passive check result manually by accessing Home > Service Details > "Select Service" > Advanced Tab > Passive Check Result. This should keep the state in Ok until the object receives another result.

You can submit a passive check result:

Home->Host Detail-><your host>Advanced-Submit passive check result->UP
Home->Service Detail-><your service>Advanced-Submit passive check result->OK
