Parent / Child Relationship for nagiosxi

Post by rdhall01 »

Is there a component or addon that will show all the parent / child relationships that are configured in nagios outside of the nagios status map? or is there a way to get the information?

The minemap is presently the only thing that works soley off parent\child relation. It will however show the relationships between the hosts as you likely need.

The Hypermap works well. You can also use NagVis. You will have to modify the map view by increasing the "childLayers", depending on the complexity of the "parent/child" relationships you have defined (I believe the default value is set to "2").
