[Nagios-devel] MAX_PLUGIN_OUTPUT_LENGTH not working?

Should the plugin output get cut down to MAX_PLUGIN_OUTPUT_LENGTH
that defaults to 8K?
In my tests it is returning to the nagios.log all the 32K that my
test plugin is returning. Is this behavior expected?
