Hostgroup(s) disappear from the hostgroup overview, summary, and grid
views if at least 1 member host is not authorized to be viewed by the
user logged in. This issue has been raised on the users list:

but never formally followed up as a feature request to the devel team.
It would be nice if a config option could be toggled on/off to either
show/not show the hostgroup(s) if any host is not authorized viewable
by the user.
or better yet
As proposed by Marc in the thread above, "...for
hostgroups and servicegroups it would be more desirable for those
sub-elements that you do have permission for to be displayed and
ignore those elements that you don't."
Note: Servicegroups apply also...
Any other ideas/suggestions?
