Im using Nagios to check about 1500 services. Some of them within a 1
minute interval. Other checks were extensive perl snmp scripts.
Nagios is about to eat up about 20-50mb / day. Recompiling nagios
without empedded perl solves the problem and memory consumption is
about 10 mb fixed
Its definitely a config think. Ive two other systems running 2000
checks and more, where this error doesnt show up.
I recommend recompiling without embedded perl, too. Have a try.
Best regards
