Nagios Support Forum

Hi

We are evaluating Nagios XI at the moment and uptil now it have been running 100%.. But now when we try to create eigther a new machine from Wizard, or a new Service Group or Host Group, or even when applying the existing configuration. This has never been a problem before, since we have added multiple servers and groups without problem!

The error we get is:

An error occurred while attempting to apply your configuration to Nagios Core. Monitoring engine configuration files have been rolled back to their last known good checkpoint.

We are running Nagios XI from the supplied VMware image supplied by Nagios, on our vSphere.

We have tried several times to reboot, but without any change!

I have attached the snapshot of the last error that was processed
