That's because the HTTP, FTP, ... protocols are not covered by the GPL=20

In our case, I'm not against writing a protocol for sending Nagios=20
information over the network; in fact I've already done so (in part).=20
What would be important to define is whether the structures of Nagios=20
could be exposed through that definition.
