Error discovered in MySQL daily backup. For more details please see attachment. What eaxactly these error messages means and how do we fix it.

Have you altered the password, permissions, or any such properties of the root mysql user? It seems that it failed when attempting to lock tables, so that they would not be altered while being backed up.
