NagiosXI in 32bit CentOS to 64bit

Hi! I have NagiosXI that is installed in CentOS 5.7 i386. I'm planning to move my Nagios to a different machine because of its hardware performance. Will I have difficulty moving it to CentOS 5.9 64bit? Any recommendations?

Hi justine,

You shouldn't have any problem on moving your XI to another server arch.

It should relatively painless. The only potential issue is related to the migration of performance data as rrds are binaries and must be rebuilt for the new arch. Make sure you have *at least* 3x as much free disk space as used disk space for the perfdata migration:
