How to monitor HDS Storage performance (disk I/O)?

Our client has a HDS Storage System, they want to monitor storage system performance (hard disk I/O), can NagiosXI do that? We searched Exchange about HDS but there are not many, those scripts do not monitor performance(HDD I/O).

I am not certain if this is going to fit your needs, but you can probably use snmp to check the disk i/o. This is what I found on the Nagios Exchange:
