Deleted hosts in CCM doesnt get deleted in the home page

I have recently installed Nagios XI and ran auto-discovery and added few hosts and services along with it. Later deleted the hosts through CCM but the hosts and services still show in the home page although it doesnt show in the CCM page. Deleted the dependent contacts, services, everything, applied the configuration and the hosts still show in the home page host details, and get warnings regarding the hosts.

What could be the problem? Tried the following, doesnt help

Will highly appreciate if someone could help me resolve the issue.

You deleted the hosts/service via the CCM, so they are NOT in the database, correct? Were you able to apply configuration successfully? Do you see any config errors, when you run the Write Config Tool (CCM->Tools->Write Config Files)? Do you see the configs in the following directories?
