Monitoring Time

Hello people,
I was wondering if there was any way to monitor the time of a Machine ? With the NRPE or with the NSclient. I was looking for the plugin but nothing seems to be found.

Should be as easy as writing a wrapper script around the "date" command in Linux or "time" in Windows. Then it's just a matter of using NRPE to get the data.
