2009R1.1G update

Post by persnet »

After successfully upgrading from 2009R1.1F to 2009R1.1G, the Nagios GUI still shows it at 1F and states there is an update available. Restarted both the service and server with no luck. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreicated. If I need to include additional information, I'd be happy to do so. Thanks in advance.

I had something similar. I just ran the update wizard(or check for updates) and it loaded for a bit. Afterwards things were peachy.

We tried the same thing, ran Check for Updates several times with no change in behavior? Not sure if anyone has run into this or not. We tried the updgrade procedure a couple of different times with the same result. Any guidance is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I'll mention this to our developers and see what they want to do. I don't quite understand what effect this would have, is there any features effected as a result of this?

In a test environment you could try and run the update again.

We haven't noticed any functionality issues yet. Is there any new funcitonality included in the .1G update that you'd like us to test? Unfortunately, this is a production environment.

I just successfully installed the .1H update this morning. I first attempted the install, with no success. The same issues that were present after the .1G update were here after the .1H update. All I did differently was to make sure the permissions on the .cfg files were correct , running the CHWOWN command. After doing that, I ran the ./upgrade command again and everything upgraded successfully. NOt sure what, if any, affect the permissions on these config files have during the upgrade. Regardless, we're up and running now.

There is a problem on our end, the current published version is 1.1G not 1.1H. So it reads as being not the latest version.

We are working on fixing this.
