Change http port

i have changed the port as described and written the file
when i try to pull it up "192.168.20.3:8080" i get "page cannot be displayed"
when i try to pull it up "192.168.20.3:8080/nagiosxi" i get "page cannot be displayed"

i have even tried restarting the machine, that did not help

if i revert to "LISTEN 80" IT WORKS with "http://192.168.20.3"

any ideas?

You need to add a firewall rule (with iptables) allowing inbound traffic on your new port.
