XI Wizzard and NSClient on different ports

Post by fmpub »

Hi All.

We have 3 windows boxes we need to monitor in a different location behind a firewall. The IT guys there are going to NAT me 3 ports to hit the NSClient++ on the inside on the windows boxes. Looking at the XI Wizard for monitoring a Windows 2008 box everything looks straight forward but it doesn't appear I can change the port that XI will use to hit NSClient++ Any advice on how I can do this post adding the boxes to XI? or if there is a better way to monitor these 3 boxes.

Thanks.

I just uploaded new versions of the Windows Desktop Monitoring Wizard and Windows Server Monitoring Wizard that add the ability to specify a port number. Give those a shot and let me know how they work for you.
