Duplicating host templates removes variables

When we duplicate host templates under the Nagios Core Config Manager it delete all the free variable definitions from the template that was the source.
We are then required to go back to the old template and add the variables back or do not duplicate and create a new one.

System configuration is Red Hat 5.6, XI 2011R1.3.

Sounds like a bug in the CCM code to me. Filed at http://tracker.nagios.com/view.php?id=157.
