backup script not taking backup of offloaded mysql db

Hi Team,

We have configured nagiosxi with offloaded MySQL database on remote machine.
If we are running backup_xi.sh script for taking backup, backup completed properly except mysql database.

Do we have any backup script which we can use and get whole backup with mysql database also(offloaded)

In XI 2012r2.9 we are including an updated backup script to handle offloaded dbs. So you can go ahead and update to it.

Actually we want backup script including offloaded mysql database. Usually we are taking backup with /usr/local/nagiosxi/scripts/backup_xi.sh script. but it is not taking backup remote offloaded database backup. its only taking backup of local files and local database.

As i already asked and got resolution for this --> we need to upgrade NagiosXI with latest XI 2012R2.9 . This new backup script will take care of remote server offloaded database also. But i checked its only taking backup of local mysql database not remote mysql database.

The current issues with your database and system will need to be resolved until we can look further into this. abrist is presently in a session with your company, until he gives the OK we would request that no other major changes such as version upgrades or database changes are made.
