I upgraded Nagios XI yesterday. After the upgrade I noticed a localhost root partition warning.

The status information is Disk Warning - Free Space: /1771MB (19% inode=75%)

I successful resized the vdisk to 20GB by following the step in the Nagios XI – Resizing the VM Disk Size document.

The output is attached:

Thanks,
Tom Ransom

Can you force an immediate check for the disk check?

Are you still getting this warning? This is typical, as you noticed the inital vm disk size is rather small and quickly fills up with many hosts and services added in a live environment. What are your present host and service counts and do you have an estimated end amount for them both?

Thanks for your reply.

The problem corrected itself. :)

Awesome! Probably just needed to wait for a fresh check to go through, or schedule it immediately. Thanks for letting us know.
