database sizing

Post by kendallchenoweth »

Is there a spreadsheet, formula or tool to calculate mysql database sizing that includes alert history, metrics by the number of hosts and services monitored? I'm interested in doing some capacity planning on the potential database growth over time to determine if I need to grow the file system provided with the nagios XI virtual system implementation. Thanks!

Not that I know of, but I can do some further asking around and see. Otherwise, here is our hardware requirements guidelines.
