Nagios Federated Build
Nagios Federated Build
Hello...I have a Nagios XI federated build in which distributed monitoring from other remote Nagio sites are being collected via outgoing checks. However, I discovered that the performance graphs are not identical to what is being captured remotely when I review the graphs on the federated server. From the advanced option on each of the host being monitored (on the federated server), active checks is disabled. Is this the problem?

Re: Nagios Federated Build
If you are passively pushing results up to the main system then active checks can be disabled without issue. Can you provide an example of the graph discrepancies?

Re: Nagios Federated Build
How long has it been since you configured that host and it's services on the federated server? It is possible that the RRD's have not completely generated, and that the data is not yet averaged out.
