Recently we brought some linux based servers into what use to be a strictly windows environment. We now have people dedicated to linux that need notification of issues on the linux servers and not the windows servers.
How do I go about segreating alerts for our windows and linux environments? I understand that I need to create different contact groups, which I have done. How do I assign servers to these groups and setup the emails, etc... I basically need a primer from beginning to end. hopefully not too much to ask. I'm also trying to research how to do this on the internet but so far have not found a useful solution.
TIA for any advice.
