Hi,
Has anybody tried installing Nagios XI on an existing Nagios Core server?

From the recommendation, it prefer to be a clean system and requires internet access so was wondering, can we install/upgrade offline without internet?

Thx
Kk

Upgrading from Core to XI, you would want to start with a new clean server, install XI and then import the core config files

Hi Scott,
Yes, had read on that but due to certain reasons, is it possible to install on a existing nagios core server.

Thx

No, it is not possible, there are a lot of things that could go wrong and that would in turn make both systems unsupportable by us. The best way to do this would be to use one of our VM's, or build a source installed XI server up.
