I will probably end up fixing this on my install but the details on the Dell Open Manage check do not truely represent the issue.
case in point. I know this cause I had 2 batteries fail on my raid controllers and I get the exact same message for a failed battery as I do for a charging battery. If you walk SNMP reports a critical component failure on the battery rollup but just a warning for Overall Storage health.
Message for failed battery: WARNING: StorageManagementGlobalSystemStatus=Non-Critical, systemStateGlobalSystemStatus=Non-Critical
Message for charging battery: WARNING: StorageManagementGlobalSystemStatus=Non-Critical, systemStateGlobalSystemStatus=Non-Critical
WARNING: StorageManagementGlobalSystemStatus=Non-Critical, systemStateGlobalSystemStatus=Non-Critical doesn't tell me exactly what is the problem. That coupled with the lack of action and notes URLS and the inability to show hyperlinks from the "extended info" the lines after the 1st in the check means I have to go back to the old BB server to what the real issue is. And if I need to know more I can click on the hyperlink to pull up OM in a browser.
Again just an FYI...

You may want to submit this to the developer, since this wizard is a community contribution. He's pretty good about responding to support inquiries.

Re: Dell Open Manage Wizard Check
Thanks for that. I will reach out and maybe look into fixing it myself. Also on Dell OM I am used to having a hyperlink to OM on the alert. Makes my job easier to drill in. I have the Notes URL and Action URL set but they don't seem to appear in XI. Am I missing something?
I have also tried adding HTML <a> tags on the second line of the response but I cannot get a hyperlink into a XI alert. Many of my alerts have hyperlink in "extra" info. I know there is a switch to allow this on Core but cannot figure out how in XI.

Thanks for the info, I'll have a look in the future to see how I can improve the reporting of what is actually wrong.
