nagios wrongly reports packet loss

hey guys,
We have Nagios installed into our network & ping checks are implemented for monitoring latency between different branches.
The issue is , Nagios detects packet loss from location A to location B, where as when the manual ping does not report what can be wrong?

Is this a continual difference between the two or sporatic? Are you testing manually at the same time that nagios is running its check? What exact command are you running and how is it responding?
Nagios-Plugins maintainer exclusively, unless you have other C language bugs with open-source nagios projects, then I am happy to help! Please pm or use other communication to alert me to issues as I no longer track the forum.
