Nagios Core VMware support

Dear Team,

Can we configure and monitor VMWare hosts and guests like nagiosxi in nagios core, Please help us to configure VMWare in nagios core.
VMWare perl SDK we need to install, but do we have any script for configuring vmware hosts and guests like NagiosXI. Please let us know if any other way available.

No, it will not be as easy as it was with Nagios XI when you were running a wizard. You can still follow the document, the difference is that you will have to manually define your command, and your services.

Thank you very much. Sorry for reply, we have configured vmware guest machines as a individual machine. we are not using any esxi plugin.

Now we are able to monitor all vm guest machines like physical machines.
