Nagios Support Forum

Hey All,

I dont think this is a nagios problem; but the mailing list for DNX is a little slow so I though I would ask here. I plan to use dnx to offload my checks on a production nagios server that will eventually be home to at least 50k service checks and possibly into the 100k range.

The problem is any check offloaded to dnx strips all performance data, does any one know if there is some kind of setting to allow this data not to be stripped?

DNX does not handle distribution of load for non-check work, like performance graphing

We don't currently have that process documented, but I definitely understand why you'd want the performance data. What you'd essentially have to do is intercept the performance data from the check results before DNX strips it, but we don't have a procedure like that documented.
