Upgrade from Nagios XI 2012R2.8c to Nagios XI 2014 failed

Hi,
I'm trying to upgrade from Nagios XI 2012R2.8c to Nagios XI 2014, but upgrade fails with - "Running configuration check... CONFIG ERROR! Restart aborted."
The XI part is still XI 2012R2.8c with fail - Monitoring Engine not running, and not possible to start it. So i think the fail is on the Core upgrade part.
I read in another thread that it could be old ghost host or services causing this problem. I have checked the file dates in /usr/local/nagios/etc/hosts
and /usr/local/nagios/etc/services, and all files seems to be up to date.

I then restored my latest backup, and things works again.

Please find attached logs.

VMware Image or Manual Install of XI? - Manual install on plain base RHEL

Are there special configurations on your system, ie; is Gnome installed? - No
Are you using a proxy? - No
Are you using SSL? - No

Problem Solved !!

I upgraded again and ran the config check..

/usr/local/nagios/bin/nagios -v /usr/local/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg

I corrected this Error
Error: Service has no hosts and/or service_description (config file '/usr/local/nagios/etc/services/ssh_check_raid_M1.cfg', starting on line 14)

Then a new ./upgrade with SUCCES

[root@khk9dsg25 nagiosxi]# /usr/local/nagios/bin/nagios -v /usr/local/nagios/etc/nagios.cfg
