I'm a bit confused about the logic of the SNMP Trap Sender sending traps in Downtime.
A critical event was forwarded even though I had the check box ticked (Don't Run in Downtime).
However reading the text above it indicates that you uncheck the box to prevent traps being sent?
Can you confirm what I should do to prevent traps from being sent during downtime?
Thanks.... Fred Kroeger

It should be, that checking the box disables sending in downtime. From our testing this seemed to be the case, I take it you did not have this same result?

I had the checkbox ticked , however the SNMP Trap was still forwarded.

Re: SNMP Trap Sender
Was there any time discrepency? Was the service in a hard critical state prior to the component's "Dont' send during downtime" check box being ticked and applied? Were you only seeing this on one service? Or did you see the same issue with all services in a hard critical state whilst being in scheduled downtime? Was the service in downtime, or just the host?
