Changing the default user for NAGIOS XI install
I work in a Red Hat Enterprise Linux environment and the user names policy is very stringent. Is there a way to setup and install Nagios XI using a different username other than the default nagios? I've been trying to figure this out for some time now with no luck. We have a user account created specifically for the NAGIOS system that I would like to replace the default one with.

Even if you are able to do this (and make it work), this Nagios XI instance won't be supported.

If that is the case were the instance won't be supported is there a way to lock down the nagios account or keep the nagios as the primary and setup a second user account to do all to communcation between the remote nodes? We are running this on a secure federal network.

The remote user that executes checks is dictated by the agent. All or at most of all the agents have a way to change the default local user that will execute the checks.
