Upgrade Issue

Post by Sbergonzi »

I'm trying to update from Nagios XI 2014R1.0 to the latest version by way of the UI and command line (http://assets.nagios.com/downloads/nagi ... nstall.pdf). Both failed with the same message. Attached is the information.

Is there any other log/info I can provide to assist in correcting the issue?

It is telling you why it failed, you need to have a clean nagios configuration before upgrading or it will bail out when nagios tries to restart, start by going to CCM > Tools > Write Configs Tool > Write, then Verify, do you see errors? If so, you will need to correct them first and apply configuration.

That worked fine, my apologies. I had missed the sync error. That was corrected and the update via the UI was successful.
