1. How does XI determine which items to be listed in "Metric"?
2. How do I add my own items to be listed there?

How does XI determine which items to be listed in "Metric"?

These items are hardcoded into the component, the list is the 5 most common options monitored for most systems.

How do I add my own items to be listed there?

Currently this feature doesn't exist for that component, it would have to be added as a patch.
