Centos Release

Hi,
I am trying to install nagios in RHEL 6. ITS GETTING AN ERROR . Centos-release is not installed ,even my server is connected to RHN also..
I have tried to install centos-release separately but still is not working .please help to sort out this issue.

Are any of your yum commands working?

And you say you are connected to RHN. Do you mean you are registered?
