I am current using Nagios XI product. It is up for a support renew.
However, I am in need to collecting additional performance metric for servers and switches.
Then I want to able to generate reports from those collected performance data.

Here are my requirements:


For Servers: I want to collecting the following basic performance data:
Linux (RedHat): CPU, Load Average, Memory, I/O ( top or iotop information will be great), I/O, NIC(bandwidth utilization).
Windows: CPU Load Average, Memory, I/O, NIC(bandwidth utilization).(perfmon information will be great).

For Switches:
Per Port bandwidth utilization
a Whole switch bandwidth utilization

Able to generate report for the all above requirements.

Would Nagios XI capable of the above mention requirements.

Both of these sets include checks that should have metrics available through the "metrics report". The additional checks may require creating a view with the necessary graphs etc, and then schedule the view as a report (requires enterprise).

For Switches:
Per Port bandwidth utilization
a Whole switch bandwidth utilization

We offer per port utilization in the bandwidth usage report, but we do not currently provide a report for usage aggregation of multiple ports.
