Dashboard editing

For dashboards, once created, where is the configuration data?

I would much rather edit with vi than dragging with a mouse.

The screen sizes, locations, text, and any other items could be standardized if I could create a template that is then cloned and modified as needed.

Thanks.

Dashboards are actually saved in the database. It's stored in the xi_usermeta tables in postgresql. It's actually a serialized array and wouldn't really be worth editing by hand but you can see what it looks like if you check your database.

Sounds nasty. Any chance of a simple GUI to change the Custom URL Dashlet data? Width, height, X and Y coords? Maybe fix a URL typo or something?
Delete and add is so old school. You can do better.

Thanks

I would recommend that SteveBeauchemin puts posts a comment on the tracker as well. This will "up" the changes for this being implemented.
