To monitor our VMware View environment I would like to check if all desktops are available and ready every morning, and feed this data to Nagios.
Does anybody have a setup like this already? Or have any ideas how to do this?
I guess VMware View PowerCLI would be an option to get some information..

Re: Monitoring desktops VMware View
Vmware checks could be used to make sure the guest is up, but for any real checking of workstation services etc, you will want to run an agent on the guests and check for said services and connectivity.

You can monitor host and guest VMs via the VMware Monitoring Wizard.
