nagios views and nagvis question

Post by benhank »

Hello fellas.
how do I change the rotation time for the nagios view?

Code: Select all

view/view tools
i want to change it to say 20 secs instead of the default.
I know its prolly a line in the code somewhere

also is there a nagvis integration script that will update nagvis to the latest version?

The views component includes a slider to increase/decrease view rotation times. Go to --> Views --> Click "Start Rotation". A slider should appear on the far right of the views iframe. Use this slider to adjust the rotation speed.

Ah, missed the second question, my answer follows: No. Not yet, maybe someday, but not yet. It can be done, but is not fully persistent through upgrades, and requires livestatus. Oh, we also don't officially support updating Nagvis outside of the XI installed and supported version.

Benhank,

I made a feature request to update Nagvis some time ago http://tracker.nagios.com/view.php?id=423. Maybe you could +1 it. If more people want the Nagvis upgrade, maybe Nagios XI developers could get some time to implement it... :)

Grtz
